On November 23, 2024, we held an intimate private workshop in Eindhoven where participants immersed themselves in the art of Palestinian Tatreez. In a cozy, hands-on environment, attendees learned the techniques, patterns, and rich cultural significance behind this traditional craft, leaving with a deeper connection to its heritage.

Unique Workshop at Galaxy in Amsterdam

On June 9, 2024, we hosted a special workshop at Galaxy in Amsterdam, held inside a large ship. This unforgettable experience, in collaboration with Vrolijkheid Stichting, brought together around 25 participants to explore the art of Palestinian Tatreez. The unique setting and warm, welcoming group made this event truly memorable. Many thanks to everyone who joined us!

On December 14, 2024, we had the privilege of participating in the Merry Resistance Fundraiser for Palestine, held at the Already Made Studios in Amsterdam. This event was not only a celebration of the holiday season but also a powerful moment of solidarity with Palestine. We shared the art of Tatreez, connecting with attendees through stitching, cultural exchange, and a shared commitment to the cause. The evening was filled with energy, creativity, and compassion, all contributing to the important work supporting Palestinian heritage and resistance.

Tatreez Language Workshop at Oog in Oog met Palestina – Den Bosch, 22 December 2024

On December 22, 2024, Tatreez Language had the honor of participating in the Oog in Oog met Palestina event in Den Bosch. This powerful event featured a range of activities to raise awareness of the Palestinian struggle, including the Gaza Remains the Story exhibition, the film screening of No Other Land, and a spoken word performance. Our Tatreez Language workshop provided attendees with a hands-on experience, connecting them to Palestinian heritage through the ancient art of cross-stitch.

The event was a space for dialogue, creativity, and support, raising funds for the Glazen Huis voor Gaza fundraiser. We were proud to contribute to this meaningful initiative and thank everyone who participated in the workshop and engaged in the powerful conversations throughout the day.

On November 30, 2024, we joined an incredible fundraiser for Palestine in Eindhoven, hosted at the Van Abbemuseum and Burgers. Our Tatreez workshop was a heartfelt part of the event, connecting attendees to the rich heritage of Palestinian embroidery. Amidst performances, an art auction, and a lively atmosphere, participants discovered the significance of Tatreez as an act of cultural preservation and solidarity.

Proceeds from the event supported the Kifaia Foundation, which provides essential aid to Gaza. It was a day of unity, creativity, and purpose.
